Any good recs for this combo? Not a big victim fan so any good versions would be appreciated. I did see a hood one at cal state Dominguez hills that was pretty good. I tend to like the combo closing the first set but sock it to me.

hey lobster

Victim > http://archive.org/details/gd1991-08-16.sbd.nickc.111330.flac16

foolish > http://archive.org/details/gd1995-02-21.sbd.miller.114144.flac16

The first is gold star, the second is a wild ride that could fall apart at any moment...

That was a pretty strong show . I like how the "rap" at the end of "Blow Away" gets cut, and goes into "The Weight" . A younger girl asked me what song it was . I was already the old guy people asked questions . Have to say , we headed for the exit when they went into "Throwing Stones" . That concluding trio,"Throwing Stones" ("Throwing Up, as some exasperated tapers, would label it ), "Love-lite"( as I labeled the Bobby versions ), and their , "only a Deadhead could love" take on "The Last Time", are not something I much liked/like . BUT the rest of the show , and especially the 2 songs in question, was?is great .

I just realized that I probably haven listened to Foolish Heart in ten years...

anyhew, 07-12-90 is probably the best pairing, includes a Dark Star in the set

http://archive.org/details/gd90-07-12.sbd.mcatee.2582.sbeok.shnf

however, there are better versions of both tunes, but just not paired together, I.e. Foolish Heart 06-08-90, 12-28-91, Victim 03-21-91
